TRAINING PLAYER: DSA understands not all players may be ready to play at the competitive travel level. With that in mind, DSA has created the role of a “Training Player” to help develop players. Training players will be identified during travel evaluations, will practice with their team twice a week, and may have the ability to play in games once the coach determines developmental wise the player is ready.
Training players will pay (1/2) half the travel fee for that group, and will be issued a uniform kit to be returned at the end of the season.

Effective Spring 2017, we transitioned ALL 9U and older players to the travel format.
DSA strongly believes increasing our travel format will help further develop our players as well as enhance their soccer experience. Offering (2) weekday practices as well as weekend game(s), our travel program grants all players the opportunity for more field time, coach contact and overall ball touches. As a volunteer organization, we will look to add coaches and teams to the existing travel program in an effort to absorb all the players from the Rec program that are interested. See News for the full announcement.

DSA Travel Uniform Orders
DSA Travel Soccer has a new uniform design starting in 2017!
Orders must be placed 6-8 weeks in advance of the season to ensure the player has a uniform for league scheduled games. Ordering information is being provided by team coaches to ensure proper player numbers are enforced. If you have not received a link, sale code, and your number assignment please contact your coach.
All orders for DSA jerseys are final and cannot be refunded.
The full kit is required attire for every DSA Travel Soccer Player for all games.
The uniform is not worn for practices.

Contact info@doversoccer.org or your coach with any questions

Due to US Soccer mandated changes, age groups are now based on birth-year,
not Aug-1 based ranges as we had in previous years. See News for more info.

About Dover Travel Soccer

The DSA Travel program currently serves the City of Dover and surrounding communities. DSA Travel Soccer is designed for appropriately motivated players, ages 9U and older in the fall and spring seasons. DSA Travel Soccer provides an outlet for players to play with and against those of similar motivation and ability in a fun and competitive environment.

All players wishing to compete in the DSA travel league must complete a placement evaluation process to determine players’ current skill level, motivation and abilities.

Travel teams are registered to play with Northern New England Soccer League (NNESL) affiliated with US Club Soccer and/or New Hampshire Soccer League (NHSL). State affiliation is through the
New Hampshire Soccer Association

Travel soccer commitments include two practices a week, and eight NHSL league games. These games are played on Saturday and Sundays (played either home or away). Spring Season starts mid-April and finishes mid-June. Fall Season starts mid-August and may run through early November. If your child is 11U+ and their team progresses in to the NHSL end of season playoffs, the season could be extended 1-2 weeks.

DSA travel soccer also may include multi-game tournaments on Memorial Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend and may include a multi-game jamboree at the beginning of the season.

A player's team age range is determined as birth-year, as set forth by US Soccer. See age chart if needed
