DSA Little Kickers is a soccer introductory program that is designed specifically for boy and girls U4 and U5 (2014-2015 birth years). Please see our note about age ranges below. Primary goals for our Little Kickers program are to:
  • Create a fun, learning introduction to soccer
  • Foster a positive parent/child experience
  • Help build a foundation for a long-term love of the game
This program is designed to work on the most basic soccer fundamentals as well as motor skill development. All children can progress at their own unique pace, making the program ideal for first time players and children at every ability level.

Little Kickers is great way to introduce your child to the sport without heavy scheduling commitment. This program is offered in both the spring and fall and is held for one 45-minute session per week. Sneakers with socks are recommended, no need for shin guards and cleats yet.  Every child will receive their own size 3 soccer ball as well as a Little Kickers shirt.

Academy Program

Academy Program Fall registration has closed.
Check back in early 2019 for Spring registration!

Dover Soccer Academy Fall sessions began the week of August 27th and end the week of October 22nd. Academy is for players born 2011-2013 (U6-U8). Our Academy program is designed to move away from the “one size fits all” style, instead emphasizing the developmental needs of each individual player. The program is designed to provide a fun and positive playing environment for children to develop a love for the game while building the basic skills and creativity important for progressing in the sport.

Each week, Academy players will meet for two sesssions:
  • A weekday skills practice session with players rotating through multiple stations
  • A Saturday small-sided game session with emphasis on maximizing touches on the ball

You can coach! We need coaching volunteers to help with the program. Worried you don’t have enough "soccer know-how" to help as a volunteer coach? Don’t be! All session planning and game days will be the responsibility of, and overseen by, professional coaches hired by DSA to maximize the benefit to our players. In short, give you all the tools to be a successful part of your child’s Academy soccer experience - and DSA will cover your child's registration fee!
